New Years Eve was spent at the foot of the Grand Tetons in Driggs, ID. It took a bit, but when those clouds finally broke…It was pure magical. They are grand indeed!

Trying out some long exposures…I never really have taken the time to photograph my own back yard, the place I spent the first 19 years of my life (and returned to very very often). So I guess this is as good a time as ever to start.

5 years ago I visited Central America for the first time. I love being a photographer and photo editor. It is great going through old shoots and finding hidden gems you missed the first time and remembering what was going through my head while I was photographing.
Here are a couple of my favorites from that trip. Enjoy!

As a photographer you never know where your office will be on any specific day. This time it was hanging 4000 feet above the Grand Canyon! One of the craziest, most amazing things I have done. Photographing the Skywalk while hanging in a rickety old crane was seriously amazing! Awesome opportunity all the way around.

The Plaza Hotel and Casino recently just reopened in downtown Las Vegas. This place had definitely seen better days, but the 30 million dollar renovation (and the cheap furnishing from the now defunct Fontainebleau) sure cleaned it up nice. I have photographed the Plaza many times and watched it go from an old beat up casino to an icon Vegas can be proud of. This first picture is HDR (7 different exposures merged together).

Not looking too hot before, but I am digging the greens.

I have not attended a Warped Tour since 99′…I saw Eminem before he hit it big, and the Black Eyed Peas before Fergie. This year, I am not going to lie, I was just a wee bit nervous to get in that mosh pit twelve years later, but photographing it was great.

I really like Long Island, could definitely see myself living there someday…or at least visiting for an extended period of time.
